The complaint of “half famous” seems to be coming from old people who just don’t know who the younger artist are; just like when I was a little kid during the original and didn’t know who half of those old people were, at the time.
Besides the terrible use of autotune, the two worst performances in We Are The World 25 were from the two oldest people, Tony Bennett and Barbra Streisand. Their soulless vocals were completely out of place.
Either way, this was pretty funny, especially Jennifer Lopez doing Rhiana.
